BIOGRAPHY
1.
David
Pendly: (Banjo). David is versatile in all types of
music and has played with numerous bands; he along with
Bruce Moody formed their own band and toured together
for several years. David sings both lead and high tenor
he has also won awards in both singing and Banjo.
2.
Larry
Wiseman: (Lead Guitar). Larry grew up playing Country,
Western Swing, Gospel, Bluegrass, and Rock and Role. He
learned a lot of his technique from his father (Laurence
Wiseman) a real living legend and the first man to
record the Orange Blossom Special. Larry took what he
learned refined it and is one of the best flat pickers
around today. Larry sings lead and any harmony part you
ask of him.
3.
Tommy
Worthman: (Base). Tommy comes from a musical background,
as a youngster he played Gospel, and Country then with
his wife Carla they formed their own top 40 band which
was one of the best in this area (The Southern Born
Band). Tommy is the newest member of the Good Ol Boys he
has been playing with us for around 3 years and brings
much to the table.
4.
Kenneth
Champion: (Rhythm Guitar). Kenneth along with his cousin
Rex Morrison formed their own band while in high school
(the Invaders II) then at the age of 18 another Burke
County legend took him under his wing (Joe Franklin) who
had performed on the Ed Sullivan, and American Band
Stand. During this time in his musical quest Kenneth
opened for such names as Jimmy Martin, the Larkin Family
and Joe Franklin. around this time he formed his own
band the (Country Good Times). Kenneth sings lead and
some baritone.
